Two kinds of listings
The directory shows two kinds of listings, and the difference is visible at a glance.
Some listings we built from public records so you could find the provider at all: a name, a category, a location, a phone number or website. Nobody has confirmed those details and we have not checked them — and the listing says so, right on the page. The provider’s avatar is drawn in outline.
Other listings carry a green Verified badge and a filled avatar. That means the provider applied, answered our questionnaire, and we reviewed them against the same standard we use for everyone. It covers more than credentials: their reputation, how they charge, how they guide people through, and how they meet your needs.
Some verified providers also carry a light blue Premier badge. That one means they pay for placement in clearly labeled slots — and it is always shown beside the Verified badge, never instead of it, because a paid placement and an earned review are different things and you deserve to see which is which.
What money never buys
A provider can pay to be verified and can pay for labeled placement. What no provider can ever buy is a better position in your search results. When you filter or search the directory, payment has no influence on the order — that rule has no exceptions, and it is the reason the badges exist at all.

The directory covers the whole ecosystem around divorce, not just attorneys: coaching, therapy, financial and tax help, home and relocation, daily support, ceremonies and self-care, caregiving. You can filter by category and location, or start with the guided chat on the home page and let a few quick questions point you to the right kind of professional.
